In a breeding project in France we’ve discovered a beautifiul deep yellow pot / bedding plumosa. That project was meant to test experimentals on heat and full sun resistance. We’ve taken some time in breeding to create a uniform line of this deep yellow plumosa and to set up the first seed production. This “Ice cream new yellow” fits very well to the “Ice cream” series in it’s prototype and strong growing habit and is a very welcome addition to the series for being more compact than the present yellow.
With this deep yellow novelty it’s possible to create a nice “Ice cream mixture” in the future.

Addition May 2018 : Picture of a tray with “Ice cream new yellow” , sown in January and grown under artificial light, flowering in the end of April ( early spring ) under Dutch circumstances.
